Payroll

The Payroll Team processes payroll for the district while ensuring that CCSS Board Policies, DOL Guidelines, and Federal and State laws are followed, employees are paid accurately and on time. The Payroll Department is also responsible for providing the necessary training and assistance to departments/sites to ensure the payroll process is understood.  


Additionally, the payroll department processes all supplemental pay, wage withholding orders, and employee audits.

Employees of Crisp County School System can use the ESS system to:

  • Request a name or address change

  • Request leave and input leave

  • Request changes to personnel information relating to payroll

  • View and print pay vouchers and past W-2 forms

  • View and print employee leave history

  • Review monthly benefit deductions


Employee Leave Information

Sick/Personal:
Sick leave is earned at a rate of 1.25 days per contract month; with permission, 3 of these days may be used as personal leave.

Annual:
Twelve month employees earn 10 vacation days per year.

Jury Duty:
Paid leave that does not count toward sick/personal leave.
