Crisp Schools Early Learning Academy opened July 24, 2023. The Early Learning Academy is home to our tinest Cougars and houses 7 classrooms for children ages 6 weeks through 3 years old and Afterschool for Pre-K-5th grade. The Early Learning Academy provides beyond basic childcare with an emphasis on language and literacy and social emotional development guiding a path for children to become confident, skilled learners. To learn, thrive and develop a reading brain, children must experience a relationships-based language-centered ecosystem anchored in responsive interactions. Cox Campus birth-five coursework outlines nine essential elements critical to childrens, why they matter and the best-practices associated with those elements. Coupling Cox Campus with the Pyramid Model and High Scope provides foundational experiences for the children we serve. The Early Learning Academy feeds directly to Crisp County Pre-K Program where continued learning through graduation will benefit all children and families we serve.
